Online Advising Tool

The Information Services Assessment Council conducted seven focused conversations with faculty and staff —five on the Lawrence campus, and one each on the Medical Center and Edwards campuses—to identify the tasks such a tool should enable users to perform and identify the types of information the tool should make accessible to users.

The online advising tool working group, chaired by Julie Loats and including representatives from a variety of academic departments and academic support units, will submit recommendations to guide the development/selection of a comprehensive tool by the end of March.

Some initial implementation is expected to begin in fall 2007.
