Information Services Assessment Council Meeting Minutes

April 10, 2007

Present: Sherry Umscheid, Ryan Papesh, Darrell McNamara, Bill Myers, Thelma Simons, Jill Glaser

Absent: Holly Mercer, John Stratton, Mandy Swygart-Hobuagh, James Tumlinson

The council discussed possible assessment activities related to the IT/NTS re-org to determine how it impacts external stakeholders. One possibility is to add a link to a feedback form, or maybe just an email address, to the email that Remedy sends to a requestor when a ticket is resolved. Staff could also request feedback at the end of face-to-face or telephone interactions. We might consider conducting focused conversations with external stakeholders now and a year from now to help guage how successful the changes are. The changes to the help desks will likely be the most visible externally.

The council then discussed Objective 5E of the Information Services plan regarding information tools/referral index for IS employees. Ryan, Jill and Sherrie volunteered to help Thelma work on determining the focus and scope of this objective.

The possibility of using the scheduled May 10 presentation as an assessment activity was discussed, but not resolved.
