The entire meeting was dedicated to discussing a reference satisfaction survey developed by Fran Devlin, Interim Reference Coordinator, and an assessment subcommittee of the Reference Services Council. Fran Devlin gave an overview of the purpose, development, and administering plan of the survey, and the subsequent discussion focused on some possible word changes and rearrangment of some of the questions as well as logistics of distributing the survey. The surveys were to be distributed to patrons at the Anschutz and Watson reference desks after a reference interaction, color coded to indicate whether the interaction involved a reference librarian, professional staff, or graduate student worker. The survey periods were to include two weeks prior to Spring Break and then possibly in late April.
